Materials

White T-shirts, one for each child

Fabric paint

Fabric markers

Instructions

1. Help the children cut white yarn into 12" (30 cm) lengths.
2. Encourage the children to put glue on a paper plate and add a pile of yarn to
look like spaghetti.
3. Glue one or two pompoms onto the plate for meatballs.
4. Drizzle red paint over the top to look like sauce (Hint: Mix some glue into the
paint for extra hold.)

Games: Play the "Spaghetti Maze Game." String long lengths of yarn around the
room, under tables, around chairs, and over low shelves. Attach an end to a
pompom "meatball." Encourage the children to wind the yarn around the pompom
as they follow the "spaghetti" maze to the end.
