Instructions

1. At lunchtime set up a "table for two" with a lace tablecloth. Make this a
special event each day by choosing two children to have lunch together at
this special table.
2. To make sure everyone gets a turn regularly, write each child's name on a
tongue depressor and keep them in a can. As you choose children each day,
remove their tongue depressors and attach them together with a rubber
band until all have had a turn. Then start over.
3. This is a nice way to help a child who may be having a bad day. It may perk
him up to sit at this table with a special friend in quieter environment.
