photos of flowers, trees, animals, and children

large pieces of construction paper or oak tag

markers

glue

hole punch

yarn

Instructions

1. Show the children a variety of pictures of things that grow: plants,
flowers, animals, trees, and so on.
2. Let each child choose a different plant, flower, tree, or animal. Encourage
the children to categorize the photos and then glue them onto large
construction paper.
3. Encourage the children to draw pictures of their animals or flowers on
the construction paper as well.
4. Bind all of the pages together using a hole punch and yarn. On the title
page write, "Everything Grows."
