Instructions

1. Cut artificial flowers and greenery into individual flowers with stems and
leaves. Cut foam to fit into each basket or tub.
2. Hang photos, posters, or pictures of flower arrangements in the area. Discuss
the pictures with the children. Encourage the children to talk about the
placement of flowers in each arrangement.
3. Demonstrate how to push stems into the foam.
4. Encourage the children to create their own arrangements.
5. Children may take their creations home, use them to decorate the classroom,
or take them apart for use another day.
