empty toilet paper tubes

scissors

glue

construction paper

markers and crayons

Instructions

* Cinco de Mayo is celebrated on May 5th.
1. Before the activity, cut the cardboard tubes
so that they are no longer tubes (cut one
side open).
2. Cut each cardboard tube in half to make
two bracelets.
3. Cut construction paper to fit each cut tube.
4. Give each child one half of a tube.
5. Have the children glue the construction
paper to the cardboard bracelet.
6. Let dry.
7. Encourage the children to decorate their
bracelets as desired.
