Materials

1 tablespoon (15 g) powdered tempera paint, various colors

2 tablespoons (30 ml) water

Paper cups

Tongue depressor or Popsicle stick

2 tablespoons (30 g) plaster of Paris

Instructions

1. If desired, cut a piece of paper into the shape of a butterfly or flower.
2. Mix water and dish soap in a shallow pan to make soapy water. Add food
coloring to it.
3. Help the children use straws to blow into the water to create bubbles.
4. Place construction paper or the paper shapes on top of the bubbles, making
them pop. This will leave colored rings on the paper pattern.
