small, unsweetened cereal pieces

a small container for each child

Instructions

1. Show the children how to take turns rolling the die and counting the number
of dots on the top of the die.
2. Explain to them that they may eat the same number of pieces of cereal as the
number of dots on the top of the die. For example, if a child rolls a five, each
child can eat five cereal pieces.
3. Continue rolling the die until snack time is over.
