Materials

paper or card stock circles in various colorspapergluemarkerswiggle eyes

Instructions

1. Talk about patterns and creating an AB pattern (or a more difficult pattern depending on children's level).

2. Give each child a piece of paper. Ask them to create an AB pattern on their paper (or other pattern) using the paper or card stock circles.

3. The children glue the circles to the paper to form a caterpillar body.

4. Encourage them to use markers to create antennae and glue on wiggle eyes.
