Instructions

1. Read I Love Going Through This Book to the children. Talk about the care of
books. Discuss the following book responsibilities:
* Protect your books from babies (babies like to scribble with crayons).
* Protect your books from pets (pets sometimes chew or eat books).
* Protect your books from the rain.
* Turn pages carefully so that the pages do not tear.
* Keep your hands clean when looking at books so that the pages don't
get dirty.
* When not reading your books, put them in their proper places such as
a shelf.
* Use a bookmark to mark your place in the book.
* Try not to break the book's back (spine).
