Instructions
1. Glue the photo of each child's parent(s) or guardian(s) to a piece of card
stock paper. Trim around the photo, leaving a small margin of white showing.
Laminate or cover the photo with clear contact paper for durability.
2. When you have a few minutes, take out the cards for a quick game. Hold up
one card and ask, "Whose family is this?"
3. Give the children time to answer. Let them guess if they want.
4. Undoubtedly, the child whose family photo you are holding will
acknowledge that it is her family.
5. If time allows, continue until you have shown all the family photos.
More to do Games: Glue a small photo of each child (same size as the adult photos) to a
piece of card stock. Trim in the same manner as you did the adult photo. Cover
with adhesive paper or laminate. Use the two photos in a matching memory
game. Mix up all the photos and lay them face down on a table. Let the
children take turns turning the photos over until they find a match of a child
and adult(s). Be aware that some children will be upset if somebody else finds
their match, so be ready to deal with that situation if it occurs. One possible
solution is to agree in advance that each child will only keep their matched set.
If they find another match, they can simply turn the cards back over on the
table.
