Instructions

Place the plastic bugs, buttons, and beads in the baskets. Safety Note: Be sure
to supervise carefully.
What to Do
1. Ask the children what kinds of
bugs they see in their
neighborhoods. Ask
the children what the
bugs look like.
2. Give each child a basket
filled with plastic bugs,
buttons, and beads.
3. Have the children find all of
the bugs in their baskets.
4. Once the children have
found all of the bugs in their
baskets, challenge them to sort the
bugs by type. Help the children name the bugs, if needed.
