Instructions

1. Give one child a child-safe hammer to make a rhythm on the drum.
2. Give more children child-safe hammers to begin drumming and add to
the rhythm.
3. Invite the children to take turns beating the drum as they gather for
group time.
4. Use the drum as a gathering tool for snack, cleanup, and so on.
