Bucket

Sand or instant concrete

Large tree branch, with or without bark

Paint, optional

Construction paper and markers

Scissors

Hole punch

Pieces of yarn

Instructions

1. Pour flour, salt, and cornstarch into a mixing bowl and add warm water until
the mixture can be kneaded into a stiff dough.
2. Lightly dust the children's hands with flour.
3. Encourage the children to shape the dough into beads.
4. Poke a toothpick through each bead and allow them to dry.
5. Encourage the children to paint the beads.
6. Show the children how to string the beads onto string to make bracelets.
