Instructions

1. Using markers, print the child's name on a piece of white cardboard.
2. Cover the cardboard with clear contact paper.
3. Encourage the child to trace over the top of the letters using a washable
marker.
4. Wash off the tracings with a damp paper towel or cloth.
5. Repeat the activity using the entire alphabet and numbers.

Cleanup: Make a game out of clean-up time. Play short segments of music and
encourage the children to clean up while the music is on. When the music stops,
the children act like statues until the music resumes. (The children in my class
enjoy this so much, they often ask to clean up so they can play the clean-up
game!)
