color copier

8 1/2 " x 11" tagboard
glue stick
clear contact paper or laminate, optional
felt
rubber cement
flannel board
Instructions
1. The characters in the book Come to Our House: Meet Our Family are
illustrated on the book's endpaper.
2. Enlarge a copy of the characters on a color copy machine.
3. Cut out the pictures and glue them to a piece of tagboard. After the glue has
dried, cut out the pictures (so they are now attached to tagboard).
4. Cover them with clear contact paper or laminate them for durability, if desired.
5. Glue felt to the back of the characters using rubber cement.
6. Use the pictures on the flannel board to introduce the characters in the book
or retell the story.
