Instructions
1. On the piece of paper, write "top" at the top, "bottom" on the bottom,
"right" on the right side, and "left" on the left. Cut a round hole in the middle
of the paper.
2. Write the following instructions on each strip of tag board:
* Stand on top of the paper.
* Stand on the bottom of the paper.
* Stand on the right side of the paper.
* Stand on the left side of the paper.
* Stand over the paper.
* Stand under the paper. (See if they think to pick up paper and put it
over their head.)
* Walk around the paper.
* Put your finger through the paper.
3. Put the paper on the floor. Ask each child in turn to choose a card. Read the
instruction on the card and ask the child to do what the card says.
More to do
Language: Encourage the children to use the words. For example, "Let's go
through the door," "Look on top of the bookcase," and so on.
