several smooth pieces of nonstick floor tilepermanent black markerscissorscardboard box

Instructions

1. On the piece of tile, draw a grid of squares and number them from 1 to 20. Be sure to put dots on each square that match the numerals written on them.

2. Make another identical grid on a separate tile. Number them from 1 to 20 and put the matching number of dots on each one. Cut out each individual square.

3. Mix up the individual number squares in a box, and have the children put them in order on the larger grid.More to do Draw jigsaw puzzle-like designs on one square of floor tile, and number each section. Draw identical designs on a second tile, number the bottom of each tile, and cut them out. Invite the children to put the shape puzzle together so the numerals are in order.
