Instructions

1. Cut out shapes of different baked goodies (such as cake, cookies, crescent
rolls, cupcakes, and so on) from construction paper.
2. Set up the easels, paint, and pastry brushes next to a place where the paper
cutouts can be displayed.
3. Ask each child to choose a baked goodie that she wants to decorate and
place it on the easel.
4. Let children paint their cutouts. When they are finished, remove the paper
and let them dry.
5. When dry, encourage the children to further decorate their cutouts by gluing
sequins, glitter, and/or balls of tissue paper to their treat.
6. When dry, assist the children in hanging their work in a place they choose.
