Instructions
1. Give each child a paper grocery bag. Ask the children to stuff their bags with
newspapers to make a ball.
2. Tape together the open side of the bag, then crush and wad it together to
form a smaller ball. Wrap long strips of masking tape around it. This creates a
lightweight ball that can be used inside or outside.
3. Demonstrate to the children all the ways they can move their ball. For example,
they can kick, throw, or bat it.
More to do
Use lunch bags to make small balls.
