Instructions
1. In your teacher resource materials, locate a worksheet with outlines of birds to color and their matching shadow outlines (silhouettes).
2. Using a copy machine, enlarge and copy it onto tagboard.
3. Color the bird pictures using markers.
4. Cut out the colored pictures and the silhouettes.
5. Laminate for durability.
6. Prepare for flannel board use by backing them with felt using rubber cement.
7. To do the activity, the child matches each bird to its shadow.
