household objects (plates, mugs, toothbrushes, shoes, eating utensils,
shovel, jars, toys, books, pens, and so on)Instructions
1. Place all the household objects on a table.
2. Tell the children to pretend that you gathered the objects together for a
party, but the party is now over and it's time to put the objects back.
3. Talk about where each object belongs (the shoes go in a closet, the
toothpaste goes in the bathroom, and so on).
4. Recite the following rhyme with the children:
Party's over,
Now go home.
Go, go, (object name)
Go into the (place where it should be kept).
