1. Say the following poem with the children and act it out.
This is Andy Rayon's box of crayons.
When I open the top (put hands together palm to palm)
Out they pop. (lift up top hand and wiggle fingers)
They are the best colors
I have ever seen.
One is red. (wiggle thumb while naming the color)
One is green. (wiggle index finger while naming the color)
One is yellow. (wiggle middle finger while naming the color)
One is blue. (wiggle ring finger while naming the color)
This one is purple, (wiggle little finger while naming the color)
Like Peter's turtle.
Now I close the top
And stop. (put hands together with a loud clap)
