Instructions
1. Gather the children into a group.
2. Be sure each child has her small pillow and blanket.
3. The group sings the following song to the tune of "Frere Jacques":Are you sleeping, are you sleepingLittle ______, Little ________,Morning bells are ringing, morning bells are ringing,Little ______, Little _______.
4. Fill in a child's name each time you sing the song. As each child hears her name, she lies down for nap time.More to doDramatic play: Have a doll "getting ready for bed" activity. Each child takes a doll through her own bedtime routine. Have books available for nighttime stories, and end with a "Bedtime Snack" for the children.
