Instructions

What to do
1. Ahead of time, glue one felt alphabet letter to each felt square using fabric glue.
2. Send an alphabet square home with each child along with a letter asking the parents to help
the child find and draw items that have that letter sound, glue one picture onto the square, and
then have the child return the square to the classroom. Depending on the number of children,
some may take home more than one felt square.
3. When all 26 letter squares are returned, invite the children to help you sew the squares together
to make a class alphabet quilt.
