Instructions

1. Ahead of time, write the following letter to each child. Fill in a different
child's name and letter on each (filling in the child's name):
Dear _________,
This week we are learning about the letter _______.
Name three things that begin with this letter.
Keep up the good work.
Sincerely,
Your name
2. Put the letters into separate envelopes and write each child's name on
her envelope.
3. Put all the envelopes in the mailbox.
4. Pick one child to be the mail carrier. This child takes removes one
envelope from the mailbox to deliver.
5. The envelope drawn will determine the letter of the week.
More to do Art: Have children make their own envelopes and stationery with rubber
stamps and card stock paper.
