Paper airplanes

1. Make a paper airplane for each child plus a few extra. If desired, let the
children decorate them with stickers and markers as a lead-in activity.
2. Hang a hula hoop from the ceiling or tape the bottom edge to the back of a
chair. Mark a spot on the floor for throwers to stand.
3. Let the children take turns tossing their airplanes through the hula hoop. Give
each child three tries. Encourage them to count how many times their
airplane goes through the hoop.
4. Let the children fly their airplanes outside during free time.
