Materials

chalk or masking tapebeanbagschart paper

Instructions

1. Draw a circular target on the ground (with chalk or masking tape) similar to a "bull's eye" target. Start with three concentric circles.

2. In the middle of the inside circle write the numeral 3. In the second circle write the numeral 2, and in the outside circle write the numeral 1.

3. Mark a start line so the children know where to stand to throw the beanbag.

4. The children take turns throwing three beanbags into the target. Help them add up their points depending on where their beanbags land on the target.

5. Record the children's points on a chart.

6. When children are ready, move the start line farther away or add more circles to the target.
