Chicka Chicka Boom Boom by Bill Martin, Jr., and John Archambault

Light blue construction paper

Brown paper strips, 1" x 4" (3 cm x 10 cm)

Small green leaves (4 or 5 per child)

Glue or glue stick

Small alphabet stickers (1 sheet per child)

Instructions

What to do
1. Read Chicka Chicka Boom Boom by Bill Martin, Jr., and John Archambault.
2. Invite the children to glue the brown strips and green leaves onto the blue construction paper
to form a "coconut tree."
3. The children can decorate the tree using the alphabet stickers.
