Materials

construction paper

small, plastic zipper-closure bags

scissors

tape

fun foam in winter or holiday shapes (Christmas tree, snowman, and so on)

tiny polystyrene beads to represent snow

Instructions

1. Fold a piece of construction paper in half to make a card.
2. Cut a hole in the front of the card slightly smaller than a small plastic bag.
3. Tape a zipper-closure bag inside the card, with the open edge at the top.
4. Insert a foam winter shape and some polystyrene beads into the bag.
If you don't have foam shapes, use paper cutouts or old greeting cards
for shapes.
5. Close the top of the bag.
6. Glue or a tape a small piece of matching construction paper to the inside
of the card to completely cover the plastic bag.
7. Write an appropriate greeting inside the card.
