The children in the chairs are smiling now,
Smiling now, smiling now.
The children in the chairs are smiling now,
All around the classroom.
(Say, "Stand up and turn to your neighbor!")
The children shake hands and say, "How do you do?"
"How do you do? How do you do?"
The children shake hands and say, "How do you do?"
To the neighbor next to you.
(Say, "Please sit down!")
The children fold their hands and sit very still,
Sit very still, sit very still,

All around the classroom.
