Instructions

1. Provide animal-shaped cookie cutters and encourage the children to trace
their shapes on white construction paper.
2. Inside the shape, help the children print the letter that the animal's name
starts with. For example, if the child traced a fox, she would write: "F is for
fox."
3. If possible, try to find animal shapes in every letter of the alphabet. Staple the
pages together to make a class alphabet book. Add it to the Book Nook.
