Materials

comic strips and comic books (age appropriate)

scissors

glue

paper

Instructions

1. Cut out a large circle from poster
board. Use a marker to separate it into
equal sections.
2. Glue a picture that represents a subject area
that is important to the children or what you want them to write about into
each section.
3. Use a brad to connect an arrow in the middle of the circle.
4. Let the children take turns spinning the wheel. Whatever subject the wheel
lands on, the children write a story or poem about it.
5. If the children are very young, they can draw pictures in a pre-made book
and then dictate what the picture represents.
