11" x 6" construction paper 10 photocopied $10.00 bills per child (copy on green paper, if available) glue or paste markers or crayons
Instructions
1. On the 100th day of school, make wallets filled with ten $10.
00 bills.
2. Show the children how to fold their piece of construction paper in half lengthwise. The folded paper will measure 11" x 3".
3. Glue the two short sides closed, leaving the top open.
4. Encourage the children to decorate their wallets with markers or crayons.
5. Count the money together with each child, counting by tens to 100.
6. The children can put their money into their wallet and fold it in half like a real wallet.
