Instructions

1. Children will enjoy knowing when they've attended school for 100 days. Create a paper chain together that will help them count the days.

2. Show the children how to cut construction paper into 100 1" x 8" strips.

3. Loop each paper strip into a circle and glue one end on top of the other.

4. Link the next strip around the first one and glue the ends together.

5. Glue all the strips together to create a chain.

6. Hang the chain at a height in the classroom that the children can reach.

7. Each day the children attend school, remove one strip from the chain until none are left.
