Dr. Thelma Harms is the Director Emerita of Curriculum Development at the Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute. She was a major figure in comprehensive quality assessment, serving as the lead author for the four Environment Rating Scales—ECERS, ITERS, SACERS, and FCCERS. Her work with the ITERS and the ECERS was the inspiration for the resource guides All About the ITERS-3™ and All About the ECERS-3™, both available from Kaplan Early Learning Company.
