Rachel Robertson is a nationally recognized leader in early childhood education with more than 25 years of experience supporting children, families, educators, and programs. Her academic background includes degrees in education, human development, and family studies, a Certificate in Early Education Leadership from Harvard University, and doctoral studies at Northeastern University.
As Chief Academic Officer at Bright Horizons, Rachel provides strategic leadership for curriculum, teaching practices, and professional learning initiatives that support more than 600 early education centers and over 15,000 educators across the United States. She also serves as Executive Director of the National Center for Early Education Excellence at Bright Horizons and sits on the board of the Bright Horizons Foundation.
A frequent speaker, author, and advocate for high-quality early learning, Rachel has written extensively for educators and families and is the host of the parenting podcast Teach. Play. Love. Throughout the year, she shares her expertise through conference presentations, webinars, and other professional learning events.
Rachel lives in San Diego, California, and is the proud mother of two adult daughters.
