Rachel A. Larimore, PhD

Rachel A. Larimore, PhD, is an author, speaker, and education consultant with more than 15 years of experience in early childhood education, which includes serving as the Director of Education at the Chippewa Nature Center in Midland, Michigan. She specializes in helping early childhood educators create nature-based schools and integrate nature-based approaches into existing programs.

Rachel is also the founder and Chief Visionary of Samara Early Learning. Rachel says, "My role as Chief Visionary at Samara Early Learning is to stay focused on WHY we connect young children with the natural world, which is ultimately to create a world where people are connected to and care for each other and the world around them. I believe the natural world is a powerful teacher, and young children have a right to experience it."
