Before her well-earned retirement, Mary Renck Jalongo, PhD, was an internationally respected educator, author, presenter, editor, and consultant. As a professor of education at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, she coordinated the doctoral program in curriculum and instruction. She is the author of more than 25 books and was the editor-in-chief of the Early Childhood Education Journal.
