Dr. Amy Kay Powell is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Georgia. She serves as the director of the Child Development Lab at the McPhaul Center. She has been the director of this program for nearly 20 years and was herself an educator for 13 years prior. In her current university appointment, Dr. Powell also teaches a course to HDFS undergraduate and graduate students and has delivered multiple presentations and trainings at a local, state, and national level. She is also on the executive board of the National Coalition for Campus Children’s Centers (N4C) as well as a member of NAEYC, SECA, and GAEYC.
