Instructions

1. Help the children write their names on the 1" graph paper, putting one letter in each square, and repeat the name all the way down the paper until each square is full.

2. Invite the children to find the first letters in their names and color them red, then color the second letter another color, and so on, until all the letters are filled with particular colors.

3. Ask the children to count how many red letters they have on their pages, or how many blue, and so on.
