When the children are in the midst of cleaning up for snack time, washing
hands, or sitting at the table waiting for the food to be passed out, lead them in
this song to the tune of "Yankee Doodle."
I have a stomach getting hungry,
I have two hands to wash and dry.
I have two eyes to see our plate of snacks,
With some great new foods to try.
Sometimes they have a very smooth taste,
Sometimes we eat them with a crunch!
But every time they pass the plate,
I'm glad I was so hungry.
We love to get new snacks to munch.
