Instructions
1. The day before this activity, send a note home asking parents to let their
children bring their bikes or scooters to school the next day.
2. Before the children arrive, rope off a portion of the parking lot.
3. Draw some obstacle courses with chalk for the children to follow. Make some
"start" and "stop" areas.
4. When the children arrive, help them decorate their bikes and scooters using
streamers, masking tape, pinwheels, and so on.
5. After all the bikes are decorated, take them outside for the "rodeo."
6. You may even have a bike inspection area to check tire inflation and brakes.
