Materials

Small block of wood, 3" x 3" (8 cm x 8 cm)Drill (adult only)Telephone or craft wire, cut into 18" (45 cm) lengths

Wire cutters

Pre-cut leaf shapes made from "fun foam" with a hole punched in the end

Instructions

1. Twist four or five lengths of wire together at the bottom.

2. Drill a hole in the block of wood wide enough for the base of the twisted wire to fit through.

3. Twist the wire into the drilled hole.

4. Invite the children to form "branches" from the wire and attach the leaves to the end of thebranches by twisting the ends of the wire through the holes in the leaves.
