Instructions
1. This is a good activity to do the first week of school to introduce the children to the school and the people in it.
2. Take the children on a walk around the school, introducing them to the staff that they will be in contact with.
3. Back in your classroom, help the children draw a map of the school.
4. Ask them to label the rooms and glue or tape the pictures of the people where their rooms or offices are. You may want to pre-print places in the building (such as the cafeteria, gym, music room, library, and so on) on the computer and let the children cut out the words and glue on the map.Tip: Copies of photos can be made at most office supply stores, in black and white on the school copy machine, or printed from a scanner.
