Materials

plastic eggs (5 times the number of children in the class)pebbles5 large plastic containers

Instructions

1. Fill the eggs with one, two, three, four, or five pebbles.

2. Label the containers 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.

3. Hide the eggs on the playground.

4. Invite the children to find eggs. Show them the containers and explain that they should remove the pebbles inside the egg and put them into the appropriate container.
