Materials

Teacup shapes (see pattern)Construction paper

Scissors

Glue stick

Pouch piece

Marker

Instructions

1. Cut out teacup shapes from construction paper using the teacup pattern. Make two teacups for each child.

2. Give each child two teacup shapes and help her glue together the handles of the two shapes.

3. Help the child glue the pouch piece onto the back of the front teacup so that the pouch is on the inside of the cup. Be sure to only glue the side and bottom edges of the pouch.

4. With the children, decide what to write on the front and inside of the invitations. Print the words, and when appropriate, the child can print her name.More to doHost a parent-child tea party or a tea for bus drivers. Invite family members, friends, or grandparents.
