Instructions

1. Use full-length crayons that are new or like new for this activity.
2. During a transition time, ask each child to select four colors of crayons. Join
them together with a rubber band or masking tape.
3. Encourage them to make fanciful designs using four colors at once.
4. Try joining together four markers. Use these "color quartets" instead of paint
at the easel at times when you need easy cleanup.
