Materials

Large blocks or pieces of Styrofoam

toy saw from workbench or tool kit

Instructions

1. Let the children use a toy saw to "cut" the Styrofoam. It should go right
through very easily.
2. Replace the Styrofoam when the pieces get too small.
3. The Styrofoam may break into very small pieces on the floor. Use this
opportunity to teach the children about static electricity. Rub a balloon or a
piece of wool very quickly on your head and it should lift those pieces off the
floor!
