Black construction paper Scissors

Wax paper sandwich bags Glue

Wiggle eyes

Instructions

1. For each child in the class, cut out one circle about 4" (10 cm) in diameter and eight stripsabout 1" x 6" (2.

5 cm x 15 cm) from the black construction paper. The older children maywant to cut out their own circles and strips.

2. Tell the children that they are going to make spider puppets. Give each child a wax papersandwich bag, a circle and eight strips.

3. The children glue the black circle to one side of the bag, then glue the legs onto the circle.They may want to glue on wiggle eyes as well.

4.
