Activity Quick Finder:

Space Helmet

Materials:

large brown paper bags
scissors
pens
glue
aluminum foil

Instructions:

1. Cut off 12” from the top of each bag so it will go over a child’s head. Turn the
bag upside down and cut out a “window” from either the front or back of the
bag so that the child can see out of it.
2. Give each child a pre-cut paper bag. Encourage them to decorate their
“helmets” using pens, glue, and aluminum foil.
3. When everyone has made a helmet, take a pretend to ride to outer space.
